Best little place ever. My boyfriend and I stayed here this past Saturday night (July 12-13) and it was so quiet and relaxing. There is absolutely zero tolerance for any marijuana smoking on the premises and if caught, immediate removal! It was really nice NOT having to always smell it in the air and in the bedroom. A lot of place allow that and being an asthmatic, it messes with me big time so I was very grateful for this place to not tolerate it. There are zero smoking rooms BUT ashtrays and seats outside every single door for the smokers to enjoy the scenery around while smoking. It’s pushed back off the road a bit so you don’t hear the traffic while inside your room, which was also a major plus too. The guy that was working (Nick) was very friendly and actually let us pick the room that we wanted to stay in that night too! The rooms were somewhat smaller than I’m used to but it was perfect for just me and my guy to have some time away from our daily lives and enjoy each other without. It had a tv with satellite, a microwave, a mini dorm size fridge, and even free WiFi! We will definitely come here again!!!!

The rooms are kinda small , our room is very clean , well maintained. Owner and the manager are very nice. If we need anything they are quick to respond and make it so easy to fix any issues that may come up. I highly recommend staying there . Perfect place if you like a nice quiet place , perfect for fishermen, and perfect if you like to enjoy nature.
How nice to find a place with such value. My room was clean, unit was well maintained (understand, it is an older roadside motel) the owner was very nice. No bugs, no loud neighbors and I felt very comfortable. I'll drop by again next time I'm traveling through.
Great little tucked away spot with Great service and good location if private is what you are looking for. Room was clean and price was extreamly reasonable. Great extended rates and they let my large dog stay! Recommended if you are traveling through the area
I've stayed here several times on the past month or so. I wanted to wait to write a review until I had enough experiences here to give an honest review. The rooms are small, but extremely clean and cozy. The man with whom I booked the room (all 3 times) was personable, friendly, funny and all in all very welcoming. This motel is a clean, quiet, restful reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding cities (several within 15 minutes). Also, it happens to be located smack dab in the middle of some of the best fishing locations in Connecticut.
